Shipping policy

Shipping & Delivery

Every table ships free within the continental United States. Freight is included in the price you see, and nothing is added at checkout.

How long it takes

Allow 10 to 21 business days from order to delivery. Large tables travel by freight rather than parcel, which is slower than standard shipping but is the only way to move a piece of this size safely.

You will receive tracking as soon as the piece leaves the warehouse.

How freight delivery works

This is not a parcel left on your doorstep. Here is the sequence:

  • Your table is palletised and collected by a freight carrier
  • The carrier calls you a few days ahead to arrange a delivery appointment
  • Someone aged 18 or over must be present to sign for the delivery
  • Delivery is to the kerb or your threshold. Carrying the piece into a room and unpacking it is not included

Please make sure the phone number on your order is one you will answer. Missed scheduling calls are the most common cause of delay.

Check your delivery before you sign

Inspect every carton before signing the delivery receipt. Look for crushing, punctures, water marks or opened seams.

If anything looks wrong, write it on the delivery receipt before you sign, and be specific. "Carton crushed at corner" protects you. "Subject to inspection" does not.

Photograph the packaging before opening it, and report any damage to us within 48 hours. A delivery signed for as clean cannot be claimed against afterwards.

Before your table arrives

  • Measure your doorways, hallways and stairwells against the dimensions on the product page
  • Clear the route and the space where the piece will sit
  • Arrange help if needed. Several of our tables weigh over 200 pounds and some over 800
  • Check whether the piece requires assembly. This is listed on each product page

Where we ship

We currently ship to the continental United States only.

Rescheduling and refused deliveries

If a date does not work, tell the carrier when they call. Once a truck is dispatched, refusing the delivery is treated as a return and carries a 15% restocking fee plus return freight. Rescheduling with the carrier costs nothing.
